How do I report an Ex-Employee advertising they are Accredited with ACRI
By overwhelming request in all industry sectors we’ve now introduced a “Breach of Practice” policy that will help protect your organisation’s training investment.
Occasionally an ex-employee has already become a member of the ACRI Network, you can check by using the Find a Provider tool to search in the area the ex-employee is conducting activities.
If your organisation is experiencing an ex-employee who is continuing to provide installation and advice services on their own after ceasing employment with your organisation and outside of the ACRI Network’s Code of Practice then you can use the button at the bottom of this page to report this.
Although the individual receives a certificate of completion, the organisation has paid for their accreditation. The ex-employee is only covered by the parent organisation’s accreditation and if the ex-employee fails to become a member of the ACRI Network themselves then they are liable for a “Breach of Practice”.
As of the 1st of July 2022, all new trainee’s must read and agree to the terms outlined in ACRI’s Code of Practice which includes only member organisations can advertise they are Accredited with the ACRI Network and utilise ACRI’s marketing kit. If they do not agree to these terms during the training then they will not receive a certificate from ACRI.
Submitting the form below will trigger the following chain of events:
- ACRI will internally investigate the submission
- If a breach is found then ACRI will contact the ex-employee involved requesting they;
- Stop all marketing of any affiliation, certification or accreditation with the ACRI Network
- Apply a date these conditions will be met by
- If, by the requested due date, action has not been taken to comply with the request then a Breach of Practice notification will be sent out demanding action be taken otherwise legal action will be initiated
In nearly all cases the cause of a breach is accidental in nature, or a result of a misunderstanding of the terms and are quickly resolved.
