General Installation Guide

How do I use the Anti Tamper Labels?

Estimated reading: 2 minutes

Anti Tamper Labels are a brilliant way to protect yourself, lowering your risk of post install headaches.  You should use it with every installation, and record the use of it on your documentation.  You can purchase them by clicking here.

What do I use them on? Generally utilise these labels on the seat belt latches and ISO latches post install, however there are definitely some cases on different products, and with different types of clients you can use them as well – in fact anywhere members have a concern, and would prefer to better protect themselves they can use these, not just on latches.

Directions for best use;

  1. Ensure you have completely finished with the seatbelt adjustment aspect of an installation.
  2. Ensure there’s no oil or grease on the seat belt buckle.
  3. Remove the ‘TAMPER LABEL USED’ section from the end of the strip and stick on your copy of the customers receipt. This shows that it was used with a particular install.
  4. Centralise it over the release button of the seat belt and apply firm pressure along the sides of the buckle to secure it in place.
  5. Point it out to your client as it reinforces focus on the day to day check list monitoring aspects.
