Replacing Britax Upper Tether and Adjuster
This document describes the procedure for members to notify Britax of your organisation’s intention to replace and Upper Tether Strap and Adjuster mechanism OR to make adjustments to the Upper Tether (adjuster positioning for example).

The process looks like this:
- Complete Form 1 to notify Britax of your organisation’s intention
- Complete Form 2 to order replacement Upper Tether Straps
- Follow the instructions provided with the delivery of your Upper Tethers
- If you require assistance you can contact either Britax on 1300 303 007 and request someone from Service, or you can contact us via your help widget on the bottom right hand side of this page
Can I charge for this service
Yes, and you should be. Member’s need to value their time, because no-one else will, there is risk involved, and it’s another service you can provide for your clients – For you to continue improving the safe travel of children in Australia you need to be cash positive. Reasonable charges will vary from region to region, and differences in services/transport also need to be considered so you will need to do your own research and value this service appropriately.
Form 1: Notify BRITAX of intent to replace Upper Tether Straps and Adjusters
Please fill in this form prior to using the request form below. This form notifies Britax of your intent to move or replace upper tethers, allowing them time to set up appropriate details for their service department so that if you require a replacement then your details are already in their system.
Form 2: Replacement Britax Upper Tether Strap Request
Use this form to order your replacement upper tether straps either for your clients, or your fleet.

A FEW THINGS TO NOTE:
- You can always search in your KnowledgeBase to easily find these forms, along with a description of the process. If you require images and instructions these are available on request and also supplied by Britax (Created by Baby on Board and Britax’s service department)
- Britax will be notified immediately when you submit your forms, and their service department should take action within a few days. If you haven’t heard anything you can contact them via 1300 303 007 or aunz-support@britax.com.
- When you request replacement upper tethers you will need to pay Britax prior to dispatch, unless you have previously arranged terms or the product is under manufacturers warranty.
