Nissan Navara D23 2015 Product Recall
ACCC have announced a product recall for the Nissan Navara D23 sold between;
- 13 May 2015Â –Â 1 November 2017
Due to child anchorages. This obviously does not effect all Nissan Navara’s, and grey import vehicles are another topic. These vehicles were not required to comply with the ADR at this stage.
An example of this is a member of the public contacted the ACRI Network because they’d purchased a 2015 Navara from a dealer, was told the standard story of how great it is with kids, only to discover it didn’t have child anchorages – just after the cooling off period. Neither the dealer, Nissan or anyone was willing to help and their vehicle, although in this age group, wasn’t on the recall list. An awesome Vehicle Modifier and member of the ACRI Network, Safe In Motion, fitted an after market modification to their Navara within a couple of days and the owners were nearly in tears.
